I believe our war on drugs has been a failure, and that although whatever good intentions were behind it initially, the war on drugs has ultimately caused more harm to our society and globally that it has done good.

Live music experiences have coincided with my transformation into a serious activist pushing for drug policy reform. Jam music specifically has taught me not to be afraid to take risks, and to tap into my own creativity. I take those lessons I learn from watching improvisation at a show to heart.

I wish to empower others to truly find themselves, to embrace their passion and creativity, and to work for a better tomorrow for us all.

I currently work as an Outreach Coordinator for the AMPLIFY project, a nation-wide project that connects students and musicians involved in the drug policy reform movement by allowing free space for advocacy at concerts. Please stop by the Students for Sensible Drug Policy tent set up in the Make A Difference area at Summer Camp this year to learn how you can make a difference!
